we didn't see morph, storm or wolvie so they must be on another timeline because they were all on the asteroid too roberto, jubs and cable were all on earth aka present time so forge, bishop, cable, jubs, and roberto = present i'd love, to see colossus, emma, kitty and magik join (who were all on the board)

3 teams, 3 time lines. Past will fight Kang and birth of Apocalypse Current will face his Horsemen Future will defeat Apocalypse.

I think they are marinating the onslaught story...it took time in the comics for it to happen and by the end of it all we had everyone converging to take onslaught down like in the comic book storyline. I see season two having charles thinking that he senses something but is unsure and maybe unsure of his abilities, then slowly acting extremely strange/out of character. onslaught will be introduced at the end of season 2/after credit . I think that season 3 we will have the avengers, fantastic 4 and other non mutant characters be introduced and by the end of season 3 we will have the onslaught storyline and a version of what took place at the end of first onslaught story.

As an older brother with severe health issues this hit home, hard. When my little brother was in trouble it all disappeared and I became a 6'/140lb monster. Sent 5 people to the hospital because they thought it was fun to beat my little brother.

since this show was shown as being slightly different from the comics-- what if Rogue becomes Death? her powers make more sense in that role than Gambit. but anyway... i think midpoint season two we get Nate Grey. then at the end of the season, Nate joins the team in present day. season 3 is onslaught. and if we don't have Franklin, i think Jean/Phoenix could fill that role--since onslaught tried to recruit her first. but as for forge gathering a team...what about Generation X ... M, Hollow, Maggot, Synch, Skin, Blink, Chamber with Emma as the School leader for them?

It was such an amazing ride all the way through, the whole season smashed whatever expectations I had. One thing that you didn’t mention, Morph shape shifting into Jean I very much saw as an indirect way for them to tell Logan they loved him. It’s been very casually hinted in the season that Morph has unrequited love for Logan, the shower scene in the Inferno episode is probably the biggest hint. I’ve loved watching this season with your reactions! It’s always been what I’ve looked forward to the most. Thanks for watching it with me!

First reviewer I've seen who caught Alpha Flight, Winter Guard and who Mother Askani is. Wondering where Storm, Morph and Wolverine ended up. I have a feeling Onslaught will be Season 3, after all, he did fester in Xavier's mind for a while before he emerged. Also, really appreciate you mentioning hoping Havok is part of Season 2's Forge/Bishop team. He's a favourite of mine and I find he gets a lot of unnecessary hate...

I wouldn't call Charles being a hypocrite here. He gave Magneto every chance to reverse the damage to the planet on his own. Should he have just let everyone on Earth die? The moral act is to save lives if you have the ability and he did. Excellent episode though; the character beats and moments were spot on. They also didn't do Onslaught, which I think is a good thing. It wasn't/isn't that good of a story in my opinion. This was better than Onslaught.

Like I feel most people, I discovered your channel through this show. I love your reactions as comic fans and readers, as well as having good insights. I was a reader, but I gave up on comics around the time that Bastion was the big bad before it was revealed who and what he was exactly. This season has been phenomenal and is my new gold standard on reviving a decade(s) old show for a new era.

Imagine Cables face when Scott and Jean return and tell him that the ones who taught him the stories of the xmen when he was a kid were actually those two lol

I believe the area of the moon where they were fighting is the same spot the Shi'ar and X-Men battled for the fate of Jean during the Dark Phoenix Saga in the original series, which established there was air on different hidden pockets on the moon. As for Jubiliee and Sunspot breathing in space... uhhh.... yeah... your guess is as good as mine.
